THE OGCA ASSOCIATE
PARTNER PROGRAM
How can the OGCA associate partner program (APP) benefit your company?
S A MEANS to accentuate a point, I
would like to draw on the 17th
century cleric John Donne,
where he uttered the legendary
idiom of “No man is an island.”
Additionally, I wish to now
use some creative license and amend this
idiom to read “No General Contractor is
an island.”
Why am I taking a beloved and much
quoted historical idiom and editing this to
fit into the OGCA context?
The answer is simple; to reinforce the
point that regardless of the size or success
of any one company, you can never reach
success alone. Every OGCA member has,
and will continue to rely on firms that:
service;
support; and
provide direct and indirect assistance
and benefit to our members through their
varied and necessary offerings.
This is the foundational basis of the
OGCA Associate Partners Program (APP).
Simply put, the APP members aid and
add to the overall functioning of the construction sector. This limited group of
organizations serve a vital support function with their emphasis firmly placed
on the direct support they provide our
members.
They do everything that is non-contractor based for our members to ensure
that the general contractors can continue
to acquire, and perform, the work they do
every day. The APP should be your “go to”
group if you have any questions regarding
any aspect of construction that isn’t the
actual work. Consider the APP to be the
physical manifestation of a Google search!

APP would be too lengthy for this article,
so please visit the OGCA website to review
what they can provide your company.
