ENGAGEMENT
The OGCA is committed to promoting the use of its APP members as: ethical; professional and expert providers of goods and
services to the Construction Industry. The OGCA desires to assist
the construction industry by creating a business environment
where quality, fairness and honesty are integral components
throughout all business dealings by its members among themselves and in any business relationship with others.
The APP Code is as follows:
The APP Members Shall Endeavour To:
Maintain high professional standards in their specific category of
good and/or service offered
Promote cordial and cooperative relations between all APP members and OGCA members to yield a mutually beneficial outcome
Avoid any involvement in injurious, discriminatory, questionable, or unfair business methods practiced by or against general
contractors
Work with the OGCA to promote ethical practices throughout the
construction industry
In short, the APP are the “Yin” to the
contractor’s “Yang” and together this
balanced and inseparable relationship
benefits all parties involved.
Promote economic and technological efficiencies through the
advent of innovations for the general contracting sector
Promote a positive safety culture through a strong accident prevention policy, and strive to eliminate the potential of injury and
death to construction workers
Promote the use of Standard Construction Documents for contracts and seek to minimize modifications
thereto
Do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the
attainment of the above.
In addition to all of this, the APP members are also sponsors for
all of the OGCA events. The APP repeatedly provide sponsorships
to ensure that OGCA events are a success as well as participating in
those events to network and continue to foster the relationships
they have with OGCA members.
In short, the APP are the “Yin” to the contractor’s “Yang” and
together this balanced and inseparable relationship benefits all
parties involved.
The OGCA is very proud and humbled to have such excellent
organizations in our Associate Partner Program and encourage all
of our members to access the list of companies and benefit from
the services, supports and offerings provided by our diverse group
of providers.
