contractor can achieve individually and
as a collective voice, the OGCA holds a
position as an advocate and ally who can
be relied upon to provide direct input
into how to make construction move
forward in this province – e昀케ciently and
e昀昀ectively.
3. INNOVATION
Our Goal: OGCA will empower construction
and technology leaders to identify, evaluate,
communicate and recommend innovations
and implementation strategies for the construction industry.
As technology continues to expand,
especially with the advancements of
arti昀椀cial intelligence (AI), this speci昀椀c
priority will become more important
to our members. The OGCA relies on
our Innovation Committee, populated
by members and stakeholders who
are technology experts, who drive the
technological knowledge growth for
our members and for the industry. As
technology evolves, the goal of the OGCA
is to continually provide our members
with the knowledge to capitalize on
innovations.
4. MEMBER ENGAGEMENT
Our Goal: Through e昀昀ective, focused,
modern and adaptive communication with
our members and stakeholders, the OGCA will
inform, guide and inspire industry leaders,
resulting in meaningful relationships, a more
knowledgeable industry, and a growing OGCA
membership.
This priority is multi-layered and the
heart of any association. Ensuring that we
connect with our members and provide
them with the assistance they require is
key. Our commodity is information and
the OGCA will continue to seek ways to
provide our members with the most up to
date and bene昀椀cial information possible.
5. EDUCATION
Our Goal: The OGCA will enhance and
promote educational opportunities to foster
growth and ensure that individuals within our
member companies, as well as the construction industry at large, remain current and
relevant.
Finally, a new priority to be introduced
and implemented over the next three
years is Education. This goal allows the
OGCA to further provide bene昀椀t to our
members as we become the repository for
educational opportunities. This means
all aspects of education will be greatly
moulded by our members, to ensure their
requirements are met, and directly shape
the advancement of this priority.
Each of the 昀椀ve priorities has
signi昀椀cant overlap with the others. Even
when focusing on one, there is clear and
consorted connection and interplay with
all the others.
OGCA’s 2025-2028 Strategic Plan is
a member-driven and future focused
roadmap that builds on an already strong
foundation to ensure the association’s
continued sustainability and success over
the coming three years, and beyond. Stay
tuned!
