Muskoka’s Clear Bag Program leverages community
ambassadors and champions to elevate the impact of an
inspiring call to action – Make the Clear Commitment, ahead
of program implementation. Rewarding and celebrating
champions curbside who are doing the right thing goes hand
in hand with this commitment.
On-the-ground efforts, including community pop-ups and
door-to-door engagements, provide personalized interactions
to support dialogue and conversation. Traditional media,
through print and radio, complement these strategies,
ensuring coverage across Muskoka.
Muskoka’s innovative communication initiatives reflect its
commitment to community collaboration and effective public
engagement, setting a precedent in municipal communication
strategies to drive behaviour change initiatives.
